About Modish Phones Dot Com

It certainly doesn't cost much to keep in touch these days, but by crikey does it take some time and effort to keep up with what's hot and what is not in the world of mobile devices!

Modish Phones dot com was set up on the 1st July 2006. The main aim of this project was to help folks keep up to date with all the latest mobile devices and phone accessories to hit the market. Little did we realise at the time, just how fast that market was to expand. At its peak, the mobile phone industry was bringing out new models constantly, so much so, that a 12 month old device was considered outdated and somewhat fuddy-duddy to the younger generations.

Most of us bought into the hype and paid for bells and whistles that we never used, nor did we know how to for the best part, but even so, mobile cell phones had become a natural extension to many an arm, and what's more, a must have fashion accessory.

So the main aim of Modish Phones was to report back regularly on mobile technology as it evolved, and to also publish comprehensive reviews on the top selling models from areas of design, usability, functionality, and value for money. Alas, due to the rapid expansion of mobile technology, it was to become an impossible task for a hobby website to achieve, and so a few more general types of articles were published as a compromise.

In 2010, this is about to change somewhat. We now have an arrangement with a well known British mobile phone and accessory supplier where they are going to provide us with some useful articles on the current market, trend, and models for the year ahead. This website has also got a fresh new look and feel to it that we hope you will like and find easy to navigate.
